Join PEACE at the CCO on October 1st from 5:30 - 6:30 PM for a special event in partnership with #BeMoreLikeClaire to commemorate Domestic Violence Awareness Month. We’ll be decorating t-shirts and connecting with the community at their Candlelight Vigil.
The mission of #BeMoreLikeClaire is to challenge and disrupt societal norms surrounding relationship violence through education and awareness. During this event, you will have the chance to participate in The Clothesline Project, a powerful public exhibit where t-shirts are decorated with messages of support from allies. These t-shirts will be displayed to raise awareness about the impact of domestic violence in our community.
This empowering event offers an opportunity for healing, education, and advocacy. After creating your t-shirt, please stay for the Candlelight Vigil, which will feature speakers and a moment of silence in honor of survivors.
