Did you know that the average person who menstruates will use about 5 to 15 thousand period products in their lifetime?
This costs thousands of dollars, when it could be hundreds. Help us make a change!
The Earth Program is hosting a workshop at the Kansas Union to create reusable menstrual pads that will be donated to a local food pantry.
We are looking for volunteers that are interested in learning how to make sustainable pads, as well as individuals willing to bring their sewing machines for use at the event. Please email earth@ku.edu if you are able to bring your sewing machine to the workshop, and let us know which date (11/29 or 12/1) you are available!!
Location (Kansas Union):
November 29th: The Jay Room
Dec 1st: The Centennial Room
