Who We Are
Earth focuses on promoting and engaging in outdoor, environmental sustainability practices on campus and in the community. Earth also provides opportunities for students to learn about the relationships between food, the environment, and local food producers.
What We Do
Earth sends out volunteers to various campus and community gardens that need maintenance such as the Little Prairie Donation Garden, the Just Food garden, and the Prairie Park Nature Center. Earth also runs the Campus Garden, located next to University Press (2502 Westbrooke Cir) on West Campus, which is open for any KU student to utilize. Produce from the Campus Garden is taken to the Campus Cupboard, a free food resource for all KU students.
