Come help out at the Douglas County Health Department's Community Garden! We will be helping them build raised beds and get ready for spring planting. Please bring sunscreen, long pants, close-toed shoes, and a water bottle. But most importantly, be prepared to have fun digging in the earth!
Gloves will be provided. We will have some tools, but feel free to bring your own trowel if you have one.
The garden is on the corner of Alabama and W 3rd Street, but you can park in the Douglas County Health Department parking lot. If you need transportation, please email us and we can arrange carpooling.
