This is a PRIORITY NEED! The Lawrence Community Shelter has personally reached out about how much they need help with food prep and provisions, and YOU have the ability to help them fulfill this need!
Help our local Lawrence Community Shelter (LCS) by preparing dinner for our guests at the shelter! Volunteers can team up to make a meal for shelter guests, then bring it with them to the shelter afterwards. You can bring dishes to heat up or refrigerate at the shelter, but should not plan to cook a meal from scratch at the shelter. Please prepare enough for approximately 65 guests.
Please schedule the food drop-off to be between 4PM-5PM, and no later! Plan drop-off to be through the front entrance of the Lawrence Community Shelter. LCS Staff should be expecting you, but on the chance that they are busy at the time of your arrival, please refer to the office staff first.
