CCO Create and Earth are partnering for a special arts education and gardening event called Art in the Garden for Into the Streets Week! Into the Streets Week is a week of advocacy and service events hosted by the 12 programs of the CCO.
Children from Hilltop Child Development Center and the Ballard Center and their families will be coming to the KU Campus Garden to decorate flower pots to take home as well as stepping stones from the garden. A short lesson on gardening and garden critters will be included! We need volunteers to help with decorating and running the snack booth.
This event takes place on Saturday, April 28 from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. at the Campus Garden (put in "University Press" on Google Maps) at 2502 Westbrooke Circle.
