Volunteers are needed through the City of Lawrence to help with the annual Spring Compost and Woodchip Sale. The event is taking place March 22 - 24th from 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Half-day and full day volunteers are needed.
Volunteers will be assisting customers and directing traffic, and will be working outside and on their feet for the duration of their shift. This event is rain or shine, so volunteers should come prepared to work in whatever the conditions may be the day of the event. Lunch will be provided for those working a full day.
