What:
Help Lawrence Community Shelter (LCS) with various activities to help keep their shelter running smoothly. Tasks vary by week (laundry, taking out trash, organizing warehouse clothes, helping move heavy and light items, mostly indoor).
Where:
3655 E 25th St, Lawrence, KS, 66046.
Please make sure you have a ride to and from LCS. Park in the LCS parking lot next to the building (blue and white). Please buzz the front door and say you are here to volunteer with KU CAAS, and they will let you in.
Notes:
Try to arrive on time to ensure everyone is checked and new volunteers can sign forms. Please dress comfortably and preferably wear close-toed shoes.
Due to low space for volunteers, please unregister if you are unable to attend. If you would like to volunteer, but want different times than those offered, feel free to reach out (caas@ku.edu) for additional times or any questions/concerns.
