KU International Support Services needs event volunteers who will assist with the ISS Atlas Series, held every other Tuesday night from 6-7 pm. Each event will explore a different country represented here at KU. Hosted in partnership with international students and student clubs here at KU, these events are open to all KU community members - international and American students, scholars, staff, and families. Traditional food and drink are usually served, with games, music, or other activities to follow the presentation.

Volunteers are expected to be present from 5:30-7:30 pm, to assist with at least one of the following:   - set up tables, chairs, decorations for event (requires willingness & ability to lift up to 25 pounds)   - guest check-in (requires use of personal cell-phone and ability to download the "Check-In" app   - serve food during the event   - take down/cleanup of tables, chairs, decorations after event

If you plan to participate in long-term volunteering or service projects with our community partners, we highly recommend completing a Service Project Agreement to set clear expectations between you and the organization. 

If you plan to use any service hours completed through our community partners for the Certificate in Service Learning service hour requirement, we recommend completing a Service Verification Form to ensure those hours can be verified by our team.
