Just Food is looking for volunteers for for Late Night in the Phog, scheduled for Friday 10/6, to help collect donations for the food pantry. There are two shifts (2-5 and 5-7) that are described in more detail below. This would be a really fun and impactful way to help support the Lawrence community!
The first shift runs from 2-5pm. During this shift, volunteers will be stationed at the table, talking to folks, collecting food donations, handing out merch and hosting lawn games in front of the table. Others will be walking around Phog Fest, handing out stickers and cards that invite people to donate to Just Food. This a great way to serve the community before the event!
The second shift runs from 5-7 pm. Volunteers scheduled during the second shift will be stationed at each entrance with a food barrel, collecting food donations as people enter the event. This would be great for anyone who isn't planning on attending Late Night in the Phog.
