Help a local senior tidy their lawn before winter sets in! Tasks may include: gardening, trimming, and painting. This location is located outside of Lawrence, but anyone participating will be eligible for five (5) hours of community service in total (4 hours of work, 1 hour for transportation time). Volunteers will be responsible for their own transportation. On the day of, please be at the site by 12 PM (i.e. leave Lawrence by 11:30 AM). Lunch will not be provided. Please download and fill out the driving waiver and email it to hug@ku.edu before the event takes place. If you will be driving others to the event, please fill out the first page and the subsequent passengers page. If you know you are going to be riding with someone else in attendance, please 1) ensure that the driver included you on the passengers section of their form, and 2) email hug@ku.edu the name of the individual you will be riding with.
