IMPORTANT: As of 3/18/20, Special Olympics of Douglas County has cancelled all sports practices and events until May 15th. This decision has been made in order to limit exposure to the COVID-19. Therefore, while we have retained a limited description of this event below, we want to make clear that this volunteer opportunity is NO LONGER available at this time. Become a volunteer for Douglas County Special Olympics! Volunteers will spot, support, and encourage athletes during practice.
Volunteers should complete steps 3 and 4 of the instructions on the link below. The is the Adult Class A volunteer application and the Protective Behaviors Online Training. Estimated time for this training is under an hour.
