Conversation Partners are needed on Thursday, November 15th from 5:30-6:30 PM in the Spencer Museum of Art (meet in lobby 5-10 minutes before) for an evening of fun conversations and a guided tour of selected exhibits in the Spencer Museum of Art! As a Conversation Partner, you will engage in activities that help build English conversational skills for members of the community that are interested in expanding and practicing English.
The Community Convos series serves as an open space to engage, learn, and practice English conversational skills with other members from the community. The fourth Community Convos series, "Night At The Museum" will focus on touring the museum and its exhibits, listening to a speaker from Spencer, and conversing about art and culture around the world.
Note: Volunteering at Community Convos counts towards the service component needed to complete the Service Learning and/or Global Awareness Program (GAP) Certificates.
