Lawrence Veterans Day Parade Volunteering

40 volunteers needed for Veterans Day Parade traffic control assistance. Volunteers will direct parade visitors to the parade route on Massachusetts Street and support pedestrian safety efforts at construction-type barricades placed according to city event permit. Involves placement of barricades at beginning of parade line up and movement of barricades from streets at conclusion of event permit. Must remain at assigned intersection if police or emergency vehicle access needed to parade route. Location is Vermont and New Hampshire Streets 700 block through 1100 block.
