Help out at the annual MILK Holiday Party! MILK (Mentors in the Lives of Kids) works with the Lawrence Boys and Girls Club to connect KU students with local elementary school students. Each December, MILK hosts an annual Holiday Party, where hundreds of Boys and Girls Club kids come to the Kansas Union Ballroom to decorate cookies, make holiday crafts, and participate in other fun activities!
Volunteers will help set up the various stations of the MILK Holiday Party (cookie decorating, card making, craft making, musical chairs, or other tasks). At the end of this shift, the children should start arriving, so volunteers will also help escort them from the bus to the Ballroom.
