Prairie Park Elementary School needs volunteers to help with their annual Scholastic Book Fair! The first shift will involve setting up the fair, middle shifts will consist of operating the fair, and the final shift will be clean up. This project usually provides about $4000 of funding and books for the school's library. The fair is an important part of the school community, as about 40 books are donated to students in need and about 100 books are donated to the school's classrooms during the fair.
You can sign up for volunteer shifts on Wednesday, November 8 from 3:00 PM - 7:30 PM and Thursday, November 9 from 10:00 AM - 7:30 PM. Email discover@ku.edu with any questions or requests for accommodations!
