The Sexual Trauma & Abuse CARE Center, in partnernship with PEACE, is looking for volunteers to support their annual Take Back the Night event on Saturday, April 25th.
Take Back the Night is the oldest worldwide movement to stand against sexual violence. The CARE Center is proud to host a TBTN event designed for students at the University of Kansas and Haskell Indian Nations University. Join us for an evening of education, solidarity, and speaking out. We are looking for individuals to assist in outreach and increasing awareness of out event. On the day of the event, we are looking for volunteers to help assemble and clean up after the resource fair, give direction and assistance along our planned march route, and provide emotional support during the survivor speak-out.
