The Sexual Trauma & Abuse CARE Center, in partnernship with PEACE, is looking for volunteers to support their annual Take Back the Night event on Saturday, April 25th.
Take Back the Night is the oldest worldwide movement to stand against sexual violence. The CARE Center is proud to host a TBTN event designed for students at the University of Kansas and Haskell Indian Nations University. Join us for an evening of education, solidarity, and speaking out.
Volunteers are needed to support and give directions to the planned march route starting at South Park from 7:30-8:30pm
The march route includes:
Start at South Park Arboretum: Begin at 11th St and Massachusetts St.
>Walk North toward 10th St
>Continue to 7th St
The Turning Point > 6th Street
Return (East Side of Mass St)
>Cross Massachusetts St
>Walk South toward 9th St
>Continue to 11th St
Finish at South Park (East Side)
