WE HAVE FOUR VOLUNTEER POSITIONS OPEN FOR THIS EXCITING PROM EVENT:
1) Help set up for the Night to Shine Prom at River City Church! Night to Shine provides a prom-night experience for individuals with disabilities age 14+.
Setup will include helping with decorations and preparing event activities.
Setup will occur Wednesday, February 11, from 6-8 p.m. at River City Church in Lawrence.
2) Sign up as a volunteer for River City Church's Night to Shine Prom! Night to Shine provides a prom-night experience for individuals with disabilities age 14+.
Volunteers will be assigned a task upon arrival. Volunteer assignments may include supervising the limo, handing out boutonnieres, and helping with activities.
Sandwiches, desserts, chips, and drinks will be provided for volunteers! These volunteers will not be serving as buddies and are therefore not required to dress up.
3) Buddy up with a guest for River City Church's Night to Shine Prom! Night to Shine provides a prom-night experience for individuals with disabilities age 14+. Buddies will cheer on their guest as they walk the red carpet, escort them to their tables for dinner, and enjoy a fun night of activities and dancing!
A sit down meal will be provided! Buddies are expected to dress formally for the event!!
The prom will be held on Friday, February 13, from 5:45-8:30 p.m. at River City Church in Lawrence.
4) Help clean up after the Night to Shine Prom at River City Church! Night to Shine provides a prom-night experience for individuals with disabilities age 14+.
Clean up will include clearing decorations and other tasks as assigned
Clean up will occur Saturday, February 14, from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at River City Church in Lawrence.
