Given the recent increase in food insecurity, MILK will be hosting a food drive to help provide for the Lawrence youth. We will be tabling in the union entryway to gather food items as well as having a box inside the CCO office (on the 4th floor to the left as you are exiting the elevator). We are hoping that you are able to either contribute by donation or by helping us table to receive donations. Tabling will be held at 11am-2pm on 11/11, 11/13, and 11/14. On 11/10 and 11/12, no tabling will be held but donations can still be dropped off in the CCO office.
Each donation is worth 1 service hour and each shift of tabling is worth 1 service hour.
For Donors:
Please donate any non-perishable item (no dairy, no spoiled goods, canned items, snacks, dry goods, etc) to the box at the table in the Union labeled MILK FOOD DRIVE.
Write down name and KU email at table, along with number of items donated!
For Volunteers Tabling:
For those at 11am shift, please get the box from the CCO office, labeled MILK FOOD DRIVE, along with the papers inside!
Please make sure volunteers tabling and those donating BOTH write down names and KU emails!
For those at 1:30pm shift, please return box and papers to the CCO office!
