Can KU Students change the direction of the pandemic?
Over the last nine months, our campus community has endured an unprecedented crisis with the Covid-19 pandemic and the local and national response. Students are in a powerful position to use their experiences and unique perspectives to create meaningful solutions.
Meet with the CCHD research team members to create a plan for enhanced campus engagement to address the pandemic's concerns with collective intelligence.
Collective intelligence refers to the shared wisdom that emerges from the collaboration of different people working together. There is excitement around collective intelligence because it allows groups to accomplish difficult tasks more creatively and effectively than any individual. Including diverse perspectives is the best way to create the highest collective intelligence level necessary to manage complex problems.
This workshop will engage with students in beginning to build a model that will help us think together about the impacts the campus pandemic response has had on the student community. We will then work together to co-create an engagement plan that harnesses campus perspectives' diversity to create meaningful impact.
