For over 50 years, Headquarters has provided suicide and crisis intervention services to Kansans and valuable volunteer opportunities to KU students. We are currently recruiting folks to participate in the upcoming training for volunteer crisis phone counselors who answer the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
Come learn about becoming a Headquarters Volunteer Counselor by attending one of the upcoming information sessions. You'll learn about our training and training schedule, meet some HQ staff who will lead training, learn more about what we do at HQ, and get all of your questions answered. Volunteer recruitment and training occurs three times per year in the Spring, Summer, and Fall.
