Join Jaypaws in supporting the Wakarusa Sierra Club as they co-sponsor a screening of the film Right to Harm with a discussion panel directly following on Tuesday, October 15th at 7:00 pm. The panel includes: Mary Fund, the executive director of Kansas Rural Center (Moderator), Don Stull, the KU Professor Emeritus in Anthropology and author of Slaughterhouse Blues, Cecilia Pruit, a "No Tyson in Tongie" activist and registered nurse, and Craig Volland, the chair of the agriculture committee of the Kansas Sierra branch.
The film Right to Harm documents the dangers of factory farming on the health of those living in nearby communities.
