-Volunteers are welcome to provide an early morning call to a senior between the hours of 7am -9am.
-Volunteers can sign up to be a "Social Visitor", making one-hour weekly visits to the residence of the senior.
-Volunteers can sign up to be a "Social Caller", calling the senior once a week for 20-60 minutes.
Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas is specifically in need of:
- 2 male volunteers to provide companionship once a week at assisted living facilities in Lawrence.
- Volunteers willing to travel to Eudora (10 miles east of Lawrence) for weekly visits at Medical Lodges.
