Join the Center for Community Outreach and hundreds of KU students for a day of service in the Lawrence community during Hawk Week!
The CCO will kick off the school year with Super Service Saturday on Saturday, August 26th. This is a great way to explore service opportunities at the CCO, connect with fellow KU students, and discover non-profit agencies throughout the Lawrence community all in one day!
This service event begins at 11:00AM in the Kansas Union Ballroom. As students arrive, they will select a site to volunteer at for the afternoon from 26 different local agencies. Students will receive a free pizza lunch, T-shirt, and hear a short welcome from Chancellor Dr. Douglas Girod After that, students will be taken by bus around Lawrence to their different service sites. Around 2pm, buses will return students to the KS Union.
