Hilltop Child Development Center will be hosting their annual children's 1K and adult 5H on Saturday, April 29 at Rock Chalk Park. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Childhood Cancer Research in the name of one Hilltop student, Cole Hayden, who lost his seven-month battle with cancer this past winter.
Volunteers are needed all day from around 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. There are around 70 volunteer spots in multiple shifts, so if you are interested in registering as a team, this would be a great opportunity.
Volunteers are needed to prep food, man the packet pickup table, register runners, paint faces and run carnival games, monitor the course, pass out medals, and to clean up.
