The Big Event is KU's Largest Single Day of Community Service. KU students, faculty, and staff volunteer at Lawrence job sites ranging from residential homes, community centers, and local organizations. The Big Event is non-need-based, so we work to serve anyone that signs up. Sign up to volunteer today!
All volunteers must be the University of Kansas students, staff, or faculty. The Big Event - Fall Event will be held Saturday, October 18th, 2025, at 9 am, with service held from 10 am-2 pm in the Lawrence city limits. Please complete the following reservation form to confirm your registration for The Big Event! Registration ends October 8th, 2025, by 5 pm.
