Every Wednesday while KU is in session, the Ecumenical Campus Ministries (ECM) needs volunteers to come help prepare a free vegan lunch, which is served the following Thursday.
Veggie Lunch prep begins every Wednesday at 4:00 pm and usually takes about 3 hours. Volunteers are not required to stay the entire time - they can come in for however long they would like. Volunteers will help with food prep - mostly cutting vegetables - and with storage and cleanup afterwards. All you need to do is show up! We will have someone onsite with a meal planned out and everything you will need is onsite.
