BeMoreLikeClaire is hosting their Sunday Fun Day event and would like to have some volunteers help out.
(NOON-1:30PM) Set-Up Volunteers will assist staff in final preparations, such as setting up registration/sign-in tables, the prize table, minute-to-win-it-like field games, and popcorn and water stations.
(1:30-2PM) Team Sign-in/Registration Volunteers will assist in getting teams signed in, documents completed if needed, and name tags given out.
Popcorn & Water Station Volunteers will ensure that popcorn and water are ready for attendees and volunteers as needed. Additionally, they will be responsible for cleaning the popcorn machine and water bottle station areas.
(2-4:30PM) Field Day Games and Prize Volunteers will work directly with teams playing the games, ensuring rules are understood and followed and metrics are recorded appropriately. Volunteers may need to reset games based on rules and what games are played.
(4:30–5:30PM) Clean-up Volunteers will assist in cleaning up the area so that all property has been put back, no trash is left, and any equipment/supplies have been properly organized/stored for later use.
Our community partners rely on volunteers to facilitate and support their programs. Before signing up for a volunteer opportunity, please consider whether you have the time and capacity to serve. We understand that life happens, but please try your best to provide community partners with at least 48-hour notice if you need to cancel your volunteer shift.
If you plan to participate in long-term volunteering or service projects with our community partners, we highly recommend completing a Service Project Agreement to set clear expectations between you and the organization.
If you plan to use any service hours completed through our community partners for the Certificate in Service Learning service hour requirement, we recommend completing a Service Verification Form to ensure those hours can be verified by our team.
