Lawrence- Douglas County Housing Authority is hosting its first Annual Edge Fest at the Edgewood Homes public housing complex on Saturday, April 29th from 1pm - 4pm, the Lawrence- Douglas County Housing Authority (LDCHA) is putting on an outdoor event for the tenants who reside in LDCHA's public housing and scattered site section 8 housing units. This event will include food, a live DJ, a bounce house, face painting, balloon animals and a number of community partners who will have their own table at this event. We are looking for a variety of volunteers who can assist with set-up, tear down, food prep, face painting, balloon animals, crowd navigation, etc.
Volunteers are needed from 12pm - 5pm.
