This Saturday April 13th starting at 9:00 am the county will hold a special business meeting to hear public comment, discuss, and consider action on the Conditional Use Permit CUP-23-00312, for Kansas Sky Energy Center, a Commercial/Utility Scale Solar Energy Conversion System (CSECS).
This is a really great opportunity for KU students to participate in their local government and share their voice! It also is a great opportunity to learn more about solar farms and the differing views on this subject!
Attendees are encouraged to bring a lunch and something to drink. If you need help doing so, please reach out to cco@ku.edu.
